Zuni Vintage Sterling Silver and Multi-Stone Knifewing Pin

Description

This sterling silver pin (c. 1930s-1950s) features the Zuni Knifewing symbol, a half-man, half-eagle protector figure with knife-like feathers and warrior connotations. The pin is inlaid with jet, white mother of pearl, turquoise, and orange spiny oyster shell, with all stone-to-stone inlay. Knifewing measures approx. 2″ tall, with a 2″ L wingspan.
