Description
The belt consists of 10 pieces, 9 conchas and a buckle. The buckle measures 3 3/4″ L x 3″ W; and each concha measures approx. 3″ L x 2 1/4″ W.
Mixed Metals Concha Belt by Tammy Garcia
One of three designed by renowned Pueblo sculptor/ceramicist Tammy Garcia (b. 1969), this is an extraordinary sterling silver and mixed metals concha belt. Known for her collaborative efforts with other outstanding artists, this belt was made by metallurgist and master jeweler Phil Poirier. Created in 2003, Garcia incorporates her dynamic graphic style into her interpretations of traditional Pueblo designs.
