Santa Fe Crafts Inc was established in 1984. Owners Barbara Goldeen and John Selmer offer high quality, authentic Native American Indian jewelry and crafts, vintage Mexican jewelry and Northwest Coast art and jewelry to customers throughout the world.
We have developed private collections of Native American Indian jewelry and crafts in the United States and Japan that include Native American Indian jewelry, Hopi basketry, Hopi katsina dolls, Navajo and Pueblo textiles, Zuni fetishes and Pueblo pottery.
In 1998, we mounted the first museum exhibition devoted to Hopi Third Mesa wicker basketry at the Southwest Museum in Los Angeles. We contributed to the exhibition and catalog titled, Circles Of Life, at the Grace Hudson Museum in Ukiah, California, from March through June, 2006, which traveled to the Arizona State Museum. We have lectured on Hopi Third Mesa wicker basketry at major museums throughout the U.S. In 2021, we published, Rare Work, Echoing Tradition: Hopi Embroidered Plaques.
Santa Fe Crafts has tremendous access to all kinds of contemporary and historic Native American Indian material should you be looking for something in particular. We also evaluate and purchase single pieces and collections.
We have guided several trips to the Hopi Indian Reservation and other locales throughout the Southwest and Northwest Coast and have spoken to various groups and conducted classes on Southwestern subjects. Please let us know how we may assist you. Personal, friendly service is our trademark. We look forward to hearing from you.
