Description
Traditional historic large Navajo squash blossom necklace. Imagine the maker in his hogan long ago pounding out each piece and cutting and setting the stones. This necklace encompasses the romanticism we may feel toward this period of craftsmanship as seen in old yellowed photographs from a bygone era. Impressively large saucer beads and squash blossoms accentuate the grandeur of this necklace.
Measures: Beads are 22″L plus the naja 2.75″L; Each saucer bead is 16mm and each of the
10 blossoms is soldered to a 1″ rectangular bar, one side of which is saw-toothed.
