Rare Pima(Akimel O’odham)basketry olla with a pleasing form and lovely traditional designs. Pima (Akimel O’odham) trays are most commonly seen but ollas are scarce. This was likely a utilitarian piece. It is our personal view that the few missing stitches don’t detract from the overall pleasing appearance of the basket.
