Description
This c. 1950s ‘Tsimpshean Eagle Totem’ was made by George Mather, Sr. of Ketchikan Alaska. “In the middle of the totem is the bear, the clan of the totem pole. On the top is the eagle, which brings the fish to the bear clan. On the bottom is the princess of the bear clan. On the breast of the eagle is the uncle of the princess.” Totem measures approx. 12.5″ H.
