Hopi Katsina Old-Style Comanche (Komantsi)

Signed on the bottom, this Hopi katsina doll by Pat Joshevama represents an old-style Comanche (Komantsi). It honors Comanche warriors. In Hopi tradition, members of other tribes who may be deemed beneficial in some way will be added to the pantheon of Hopi katsinas, such is the case with this Comanche (Komantsi). It stands 10″ H and is most appropriate to hang on a wall such as is done in Hopi homes.
